Registration
Who can play, when to sign up, what it costs and what the fee buys.
Who can play at Chandler National?
Boys and girls league-age 4–16. Ages 4–7 may register with any league regardless of address; ages 8+ must live or attend school within our boundary (zips 85225, 85248, 85249, 85286; check the official boundary map). Our Challenger Division welcomes players with physical and cognitive challenges from anywhere.
When is registration?
Spring registration opens around December 1. Fall registration runs in summer, and Fall Ball starts the Tuesday after Labor Day. Exact dates each season are on the Register page.
What documents do I need?
A birth certificate and proof of residency (or school enrollment for school-based eligibility).
What does my registration fee include?
Jersey, cap, league patch, league pin, pictures, and (for Rookie and A players) a batting helmet, plus fields, umpires, team equipment, and events like Opening Ceremony, the Jamboree, the Home Run Derby, and postseason tournaments. Spring players also get a practice jersey.
What extra costs should I expect?
Pants, belt, and socks in your team's color; a glove; optional equipment like a personal bat or bag; practice field/light fees; and optional extras (photo upgrades, trophies, team celebrations).

Game days
Where games are, whether the fields are open, and what heat or lightning changes.
Where are games played?
Majors and below play at Snedigar Sportsplex (4500 S. Basha Rd) on Fields 7–10. Juniors also play at Nozomi Park, Tempe Diablo, Pima, and Folley Park. Seniors home fields vary by season; check the schedule.
How do I know if fields are open?
Check the field status page, where the board posts its call; a status banner also appears at the top of every page whenever there is a call to post. The City of Chandler is the final authority on closures (fields hotline (480) 782-2715, updated about 2 p.m.), and umpires/league officials make game-time calls.
What happens in extreme heat or monsoon weather?
Safety first: we follow lightning protocols (clear the field at first thunder; 30-minute rule) and adjust for extreme heat per state health guidance. Cancellations are posted on the field status page; check it before you drive out.

Sponsorship, volunteering, divisions and the league
One question each: sponsorship, volunteering, the Challenger Division and the league itself.
1 question
Sponsorship
Why does every team need a sponsor?
Sponsorships fund scholarships, equipment (about 2,580 baseballs a season!), umpires, field improvements, and insurance, keeping registration affordable for every family. Teams that can't find a sponsor can self-sponsor ($300).

Volunteering
How do I volunteer or coach?
We're 100% volunteer-run and always need coaches, team parents, and helpers. Every volunteer completes Little League's annual background check (via JDP) and required trainings. Start on the Volunteer page.

Divisions
What is the Challenger Division?
Little League's adaptive division for players with physical and cognitive challenges: buddy-supported, celebration-first, and open regardless of boundary. It's some of the best baseball you'll ever watch.

The league
Is Chandler National the same as Chandler American?
No. We're sibling leagues in Arizona District 13. Chandler American serves north/west Chandler (85224, 85226) at Nozomi Park; Chandler National serves south Chandler. In fall, CNLL is the only Chandler league fielding a season, so fall welcomes players from all Chandler zips.
