Code of Conduct

Approved by CNLL BOD November 7, 2018

1. No Director, Manager/Coach, Umpire, Spectator, or Player shall at any time lay a hand upon, shove, strike, verbally intimidate/harass or threaten an Umpire, Player, Spectator, Manager/Coach or Board Member. Directors are to immediately suspend such person(s) from further play or observance of play. A written report must be submitted to a Board Member (within 24 hours of the incident). Such persons shall remain suspended until his/her case has been resolved and a final report in writing has been filed with the Board.

2. No Manager/Coach, Spectator, Umpire or Player shall refuse to abide by a Director’s decision. Directors shall immediately suspend such person(s) from further play or observance of play and a written report must be submitted to the Division Director and a Board Member (within 24 hours of the incident). Such persons shall remain suspended until his/her case has been resolved and a final report in writing has been filed with the Board.

3. No Player shall be guilty of using unnecessary rough tactics in the play of the game against the body or person of an opposing player. Director shall immediately suspend such person(s) from further play or observance of play and a written report must be submitted to the Division Director and a Board Member (within 24 hours of the incident). Such persons shall remain suspended until his/her case has been resolved and a final report in writing has been filed with the Board.

4. No Director, Manager/Coach or Player shall appear on the playing field at any time in an intoxicated condition. Director shall to immediately suspend such person(s) from further play or observance of play. A written report must be submitted to a Board Member (within 24 hours of the incident). Such persons shall remain suspended until his/her case has been resolved and a final report in writing has been filed with the Board.

5. No Spectator shall appear on the field (exception: when a critical injury occurs, time is called and it is deemed advisable to call for the assistance of a Spectator). It is the Manager’s responsibility to control the Team’s parents, fans and spectators. Any violation may lead to ejection and/or suspension of the individual(s).

6. No Director, Manager/Coach, Umpire, Player or Spectator shall use obscene language or gestures. It is the Manager’s responsibility to ensure that Coaches and Players shall refrain from using obscenities and obscene gestures. Any violation may lead to ejection and/or suspension of the individual(s).

7. Board Members shall not exercise authority or title while Managing or Coaching a game in which his team is participating unless the action is necessary. A violation of this section will be dealt with more harshly than with any other offense.

8. No Board Member, Manager/Coach or Member of the League shall use social media in any form to post any remark, picture, video, etc., that is derogatory to the well being of CNLL. Any violation will result in disciplinary action up to and including removal from the League.

9. No Board or Ancillary member who has direct or indirect connection to a vendor may submit a bid on behalf of said vendor for any equipment or services requested by CNLL; nor shall said vendor participate in the submission of a bid for such equipment or services. Any violation will result in disciplinary action up to and including removal from the League.

Penalties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Written warning
  • Game suspension
  • Multiple game suspension
  • Season suspension
  • Removal from the league

Registration Information

Thank you for your interest in participating in Chandler National Little League. CNLL is a charter member of Little League International, the largest volunteer organization in the world. There are no paid positions in the league. Our Board of Directors, managers, coaches and team moms volunteer countless hours to give our players and families the best youth baseball experience possible.

Requirements

  • One or both parents/guardians
  • Child’s original or State Certified Birth Certificate*
  • Current Proof of Residency**
  • Forms of Payment: Cash, Check or Credit/Debit Card (Payment due at time of registration.)***

Please note: Proof of Residency & Birth Certificate are REQUIRED for ALL players in order to register.
*CA Birth Abstract not acceptable as proof.
**Proofs of Residency must include the CORRECT zip code.
*** Registration is non-refundable
